Beyond research

Hobbies and side projects I do in my spare time, separate from my academic work. For the curious.

Music

I play the alto (Buffet Crampon) and the baritone (Keilwerth) saxophones. I perform in the “Banda Atómica” and have played in several local big bands and saxophone quartets: jazz, blues, tango, choro, rock, folkloric and classical music.

Collaboration network of Charly García, one of the ego-networks in the project

Argentine rock collaboration network

Who are the real hubs of Argentine rock? Starting from the rock.com.ar encyclopedia, I built the collaboration network of more than 6,000 artists (who recorded with whom, who played in which band) and analyzed it with graph theory: hubs, communities, centrality. Charly García is the most connected artist, while León Gieco is the main bridge between scenes.
